This weekend was epic. While my birthday was last Thursday, for me it actually started in July. However months of excitement could not prepare me for the joys of what this weekend brought. Close friends mingled in with new ones, late nights and mid-mornings. A hike that no matter how much Megan disputes it, I know she loved. Cupcakes. Red velvet cake. Balloons!! My own mini Dooney and Burke (thank you Megan!). Roses - so many beautiful, beautiful roses! Glitter candles and a boyfriend who loves me a knows me so well - maybe even better than myself. A best friend who will sneak home and decorate my apartment for the surprise party that I never saw coming. A friend who's smile lights up the room, even if he makes it difficult to capture on camera (but I gotcha, didn't I!!). The best.stir fry.ever. 

Crazy morning hair, cake for breakfast and(veggie) hot dogs for any time of the day. More flowers. Goats. Goats that came running when you opened  your arms to greet them.

And a Beirut Concert this evening.

I am blessed.

My sister wasn't able to be here this weekend and I missed her terribly. She was off to LA for the weekend because she entered into a Korean singing competition, and was put through to the next round! Proud of you babe. Keep singing.
