A few snapshots of what I have been up to lately. Listening to my iTunes, which is forever surprising me with it's content. (I download free albums off of Amazon frequently, and sometimes it takes me months just to hear a new song.) Last Friday I made two new purchases of jeans, and my "boyfriend" style needed some breaking in; so today I put them on and sat in a bathtub full of water. That was at 11am - as of this evening they're still not dry. Spent the whole day in my boyfriend's boxers. Obligatory.
And yes, I wrote that note just for you.

Amber, I think of you as one of those charming American icons from a John Hughes movie. Dunno why but I just do, even though I guess you may find it odd to be still thought of as a teenager. I guess you've got that quality.
Talking of John Hughes, I remember seeing THE BREAKFAST CLUB when I was 14 and it happened to be on television. I had never been in detention, ever, but I got into detention that week and was made to come into school on a saturday. It was nothing like the movie.
I've never broken jeans in like that (or at all, purposefully) before. Sounds fun! I was going to try brining some t-shirts to distress them a bit and wear them out/ soften them, but I've never done it before. I hope it goes well!
