You know that thought pattern you can get every once in a while where you think "wow, I should really do X, but Y is such a better idea. Yeah...I like Y. I think I'll do that. What a great idea." And then 20 minutes later you find yourself thinking "I'm so proud of myself for coming up with that great idea. I should do it."
"That is such a great idea! I'll do it tomorrow. I'll dedicate the entire day to it."
The next day:
"I think I'm going to write this awesome idea down, and save it for a rainy day."
Well, that's been my weekend of sorts. It certainly is why you haven't had a blog post since Thursday! And while we're on the subject as to why there hasn't been a blog post since Thursday, I would like to tell you that no, it's not because I haven't been inspired. It's simply because I've been having so much fun! I recently discovered that I have a 1,000 acre preserve right in my back yard! I have free access, and the vistas are absolutely jaw-dropping. I've gone up there two days in a row.
Also, this evening is the event of the annual Heath and Harmony Festival with plenty of reggae music - and while I am not attending I am lucky enough to hear the music load and clear right here at home.
And then I baked bread.
Ate ramen (I know, I know...but I loved every bite and mixed in veggies!).
And I also added two new items to my closet (show you soon!)
And hosted a garage sale.
Oh, and I also shaved my legs. BAM!!
