Wonder Wednesdays: Newspaper Nail Tutorial

Oh I am so excited to share this nail technique with you. It's super easy, dries almost instantly and you probably have a few newspapers laying around the house, no? I've added a fun unique twist by topping my manicure with a matte top coat. Here in my tutorial I used vodka to transfer the ink to my nails, but you can also use rubbing alcohol (for those of who don't have hard liquor lying around. I had to buy mine, completely forgetting that I had an alternative in the emergency aid kit).

What you will need:
  • Creamy based nail polish. I used OPI Time-less is More
  • Matte nail polish top coat, or a traditional top coat
  • A newspaper, cut into small strips

Amber, when you write about stuff like this I feel very much out of place. Can you not write about, I don't know, the end of 'Desperate Housewives'? Actually, scrap that idea.

That is really cool! And just to clarify, what do you keep in your first aid kit: rubbing alcohol or vodka haha? I hope its vodka...

I love your nail tutorials. You're the queen of fabulous nails!

And as a former newspaper reporter, I love you for this style. Hehe. ;)

I could use that vodka for non-nail purposes right now though. Let's be real. xo
