Toile and Lacing up Lace

I'm still playing in my mother's clothes, as you can see. A fabulous thing about them? No labels! I have no idea who/what made these clothes. It's almost liberating.






And, then we went to the Lion King!! An early Birthday Present (which was August 30th!), along with a birthday dress from my mom.

First outfit:
Lace top, silk pleated skirt with awesome random color dots and brown leather belt: Mothers (no labels)

Second outfit: thrifted leather jacket, dress: birthday gift from mom(label says "pxie") shoes: Target, and pearl necklace bought at Nordstrom.

Lion King and Big Bears in Vegas

I landed in Vegas yesterday. Home to visit my mom and sister before I move. I also brought absolutely no clothes with me. Solution? Raid my mothers closet! Today the temperature was 113 degrees. Can you imagine?

• Shoes: Ed Hardy's
• Wallet: Louis Vuittion (Vernis)
• Sunglasses: Kathy Von Zealand

...Aaand of course; nails of the day! Estee Lauder (no name) and random dollar store glitter polish. (manicure lasted less than an hour)

Ooh! I have more news! Tomorrow night, in early celebration of my birthday, we're going to the Mandalay Bay to see the Tony Award winning Broadway Show The Lion King!! Simba anyone?

Here in California, the temp inland can be completely different than that at the beach. Poolside it can be 88 degrees, and at the beach, 56. So, in the theme of beaches...I have some VERY exciting news!!!!

Shopping Spree!!

As some of you know, I went up to the Twin Cities, Chicago and the Canadian border last week. I had such a blast - my first time to the Windy City! While there I did plenty of shopping! View the bounty below!






*yes, I am aware that many "fashionistas" are dead set against Ed Hardy's. I too used to feel that way. But for some reason, I couldn't resist these. Go figure!
I actually got 2 pairs of these AK's - one in the perfect shade of pink to match my Lockheart purse; but I had to do it by store order.
