Michael

To be perfectly honest, I'm in complete shock and disbelief. I never saw this coming. I never went to a concert. I own a red leather jacket because of this man. He was pop culture. He practically invented it. He was my first "husband". I busted my first move to this man.
Most of all, I'm at a loss of words.

Michael, you are deeply, sorely, and painfully missed.

Weekend

This weekend: Made a teal green dress, wore it. Wore it proud. Ate sushi. Drank olive oil. Quizzed jewelers on diamonds. Met a ceramist from Hawai'i. Went to the Redwoods. Called a Robin a Blue Bird. Went to Goat Rock beach, saw a seal: got a little too excited. Saw a HUGE box jelly fish. Ate best. Mexican. ever. Got sand between my toes. Did cartwheels. Laughed hard. Hey mom: "ice bra". Ate spicy Indian food. Gave hugs. Gave kisses. Bawled my eyes out. Learned about a deep sea lake underwater. GRADUATED COLLEGE.
Um, so, I made this dress!! Just me, fabric and a sewing machine! No pattern, just needle and thread. So proud of myself. Wore it to my graduation. Headband is a DYI you may remember.

I'd have to say that the weekend was pretty amazing!

Foggy City

The above franken is my take on BB Couture's Electric Avenue. Not quite a match, but I do love the color. I think it looks like water.

It was a foggy day in San Francisco, but lovely non the less. Headed up to San Rafael to have Puerto Rican food. Mmmm...garlic planato machos!
Tee: Palomita Celebrity designed tee (but you can't see the design. Silly me)
Scarf: Mobius, AA
Jeans: Hudson
Shoes: Shiekh (which are incredibly comfortable)
Belt: Express
Purse: Nordstrom

Entire outfit (minus scarf and belt) gifts from Piensa Mas Alla event! (which I still need to place photos of)

Nailed

I will be posting the Piensa Mas Alla event photos, as soon as I get some! I promise. My boyfriend took some, but I also wanted to mix those in with the professional ones.

Meanwhile, I wanted to share with you my love of nail polish/polish frankening!

This is a baby blue that I frankened, and then added konad. One of my favorites!
OPI's "The It Color". Makes me happy.

This is by far my favorite technique of applying polish: marbling. I can do a tutorial if you want.

I had an ardent affair with glitter frankens. 100% acetone needed when removing!!

This is what I do when I'm too lazy to remove a manicure: I just keep layering! This one lasted me a whole week. Which, is a millennium for me. The purple is OPI's "Do you Lilac-It?"
